In a revelation that has taken the football world by surprise, Jürgen Klopp has made it clear to close associates that he would be willing to leave his position as global football director at Red Bull to take charge of the Brazil national team or even take the reins at Real Madrid. The German manager, renowned worldwide for his successful tenure at Liverpool and his high-energy style of play, has expressed dissatisfaction with his current role at Red Bull, opening up a range of possibilities for his future.
Although, for now, the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) has not made official contact with Klopp, sources close to the coach suggest he is open to the idea of managing Brazil. With CBF recently parting ways with Dorival Júnior and in the process of seeking a new manager, Klopp stands out as one of the most attractive options due to his impressive European pedigree and ability to build solid and competitive teams.
Klopp, who has been instrumental in Liverpool's resurgence, guiding the club to win the Champions League in 2019 and the Premier League in 2020, now faces an uncertain future at Red Bull, where his global role has not provided the satisfaction he anticipated. Reports indicate that the manager is unhappy with his lack of day-to-day influence over the football operations at clubs under the brand, making him more likely to consider a potential departure.
On the other hand, Real Madrid, which has also been linked with Klopp’s name, could be another option he would be willing to consider. After the team's exit from the Champions League and uncertainty surrounding Carlo Ancelotti's future, the Spanish giants might present an attractive destination for the manager.
While everything seems to be in the early stages, the prospect of Klopp managing Brazil, one of the most successful countries in World Cup history, would be a remarkable turn in his career. If it materialises, it would represent a dramatic shift from club football to a top-level international challenge.
Jürgen Klopp's decision to leave Red Bull could be closer than many realise. The opportunity to manage Brazil, a team with a rich history and ambition, could be the next big challenge in his career, with CBF possibly making contact in the coming months.
