In the United States, football or soccer is not as followed as how it is in the rest of the world. What most Americans know about soccer is the popular clubs and leagues like FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, the Premier League, the Champions League, and the World Cup. An NBA player seems to show support for a club that not many expect to see.

Miami Heat's Bam Adebayo caused many football fans to go wild on Instagram. Adebayo will soon be playing in the NBA All-Star game and has done some media work for the NBA All-Star weekend. Adebayo did not confirm he supports this football club, but him wearing the hat of the club caused many people to believe he does. Adebayo celebrates his third time being called up for the NBA All-Star roster and was interviewed on his thoughts.

In a video posted by the Miami Heat, Adebayo mentions his mom being the first to call about being called for the All-Star roster for a third time. Many football fans were confused and happy to see Adebayo wearing a Leeds United hat during the interview. Leeds United has a history with the United States as, in recent years, they have had American players and an American coach. American manager Jesse Marsch managed the team a few seasons ago while also having Weston Mckennie, Tyler Adams, and Brendan Aaronson. Leeds United is currently in the Championship after being relegated from the Premier League last season. The firm that owns the NFL's San Francisco 49ers is the full owner of the club led by president Paraag Marathe.
