FC Barcelona has recently been in talks to sign Erling Haaland. Barcelona sporting director Deco has been in talks with Haaland's agents in Barcelona this week. Spanish streamer and journalist Gerard Romero reported the story, but it doesn't mean that the Norwegian striker will sign with the Catalan club. Romero did inform that talks included a possible move from Haaland to Barcelona in the future. Barcelona is hopeful of fixing its financial situation and potentially signing another young football star.

FC Barcelona has set its sights on potentially signing on a player worth over $100 million. This is Bayer Leverkusen player Florian Wirtz. FC Barcelona is interested in signing Florian Wirtz, and he is expected to stay at Bayer Leverkusen until 2026, which works in favor of Barça. Wirtz has been a target for Barcelona for a while. Other clubs like Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, and Manchester City are interested as well.

Wirtz has played 23 matches for Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga this season. Wirtz has scored five goals and provided ten assists this season and has started 21 out of the 23 games he's played in the Bundesliga. While Barca can't afford to sign Wirtz this summer, the German attacker could be an option in two years if he does not sign a contract extension. Wirtz would like to complete a historic Bundesliga title with Bayer Leverkusen and end Bayern Munich's title run.
