Neymar back to Santos? Where the Brazilian could play next year

Neymar left PSG last summer and decided to pursue a new challenge in Saudi Arabia. The Brazilian was offered European football, but he wanted to return to FC Barcelona. Neymar couldn't join the Catalan club due to Barcelona's financial struggles. Neymar instead joined Al Hilal last summer, and he was excited to try a different league he hadn't expected to play in. His time at Al Hilal this season didn't last very long, and he only played five games with them. Neymar then suffered an ACL injury with the Brazilian national team, which kept him out for the whole season. Neymar is recovering from his injury in Brazil and at the Al Hilal facilities, and it is expected that he will play with them next season, but some reports suggest he could go somewhere else.

Neymar went to Brazil to watch his former club Santos FC play. This isn't the first time Neymar has visited the Brazilian club this year, but this time, more rumors surged about his future potentially being in Brazil again. UOL Esporte reports that Neymar informed the Santos players and staff he would like to rejoin the club in 2025. Neymar and Santos are jointly aligned on his return to the club next season. He has a contract with Al Hilal until 2025 and would have to renew his deal with the club in order to be loaned out next year.

Neymar is looking ahead to the 2026 World Cup, and Neymar is planning to return to Brazil in 2025. Also, thinking about the pre-World Cup period, the idea is to get Neymar closer to the Brazilian people by playing for Santos. The Brazilian reportedly wants to regain the affection and sympathy of some Brazilians and show himself every day in Brazil. Santos wants to recreate the star's great moments with the club's shirt.
