Inter Miami have had a forgettable preseason tour ahead of the MLS season. Inter Miami played seven preseason games, where they only won 1 game, drew 2, and lost 4. Lionel Messi will look to start the MLS season well despite the poor preseason. The MLS season starts for them next Wednesday when they take on Real Salt Lake at the DRV PNK Stadium.

The preseason tour started off calm as Inter Miami drew 0-0 with El Salvador. Then they suffered their first loss in the tour as they took a 1-0 defeat against FC Dallas. Inter Miami then traveled to Saudi Arabia to suffer two tough defeats against the best Saudi Arabian clubs. They first lost 4-3 against Saudi Pro League leaders Al Hilal and then lost 6-0 against Al Nassr, who are second in the league. Al Nassr was without Cristiano Ronaldo as well due to injury.

Inter Miami traveled to Hong Kong to play the Hong Kong XI. Lionel Messi did not play in the game, which caused anger among the Hong Kong fans, but his team won 4-1.
