Manchester United are back to winning ways in the Premier League after they defeated Everton 2-0 at Old Trafford. Man United scored their two goals in the first half courtesy of Marcus Rashford and Bruno Fernandes. The Red Devils are still in the 6th position but now have 47 points. They are three points behind the 5th spot, where Spurs occupy that position.

Manchester United started on fire against Everton as they had attempts early in the game. In the 10th minute, Alejandro Garnacho is brought down in the box after a pass from Marcus Rashford from the left side. The penalty was given after a VAR check confirmed there was no offside in the play. Bruno Fernandes stepped up for the penalty, and the ball into the bottom right corner past Jordan Pickford. Pickford went the right way, but the accuracy was too much for the keeper to reach.

Bruno Fernandes almost scored from a free kick in the 28th minute. Fernandes whipped the ball towards the top left corner, but Pickford made a vital save to prevent it from going in. Alejandro Garnacho won another penalty for Manchester United in the 34th minute. Garnacho dribbled from the right into the box, and Godfrey trips him just by the edge of the box. Rashford stepped up for this penalty, and he converted it. Rashford sent Pickford the wrong way and slotted the ball into the bottom left corner.
