Manchester United has reportedly opened talks with Napoli regarding a potential exchange deal involving Marcus Rashford and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. Rashford, who has struggled to maintain his place in the starting lineup under new manager Ruben Amorim, is available for transfer this month. However, United has only received loan offers from clubs that cannot meet their financial demands.
While AC Milan has been the club most frequently linked with Rashford, recent reports suggest that the English forward could make a move to Italy, with Napoli being a possible destination. Discussions are ongoing between the two clubs over an ambitious swap deal that could see Kvaratskhelia head to Manchester in exchange for Rashford.
Napoli is reportedly willing to part with Kvaratskhelia for the right price, and the Georgian international has been a long-term target for Antonio Conte, who is looking to bolster his attacking options at United. However, United faces competition from Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), which has reignited its pursuit of Kvaratskhelia since the summer transfer window.
Fabio Romano reports that Napoli is also in direct talks with PSG, which is proposing its own swap deal. PSG is reportedly offering Milan Skriniar, a central defender, as part of the exchange.
Napoli has reportedly offered Kvaratskhelia a new contract, but the 23-year-old, whose current deal runs until 2027, has yet to respond as he evaluates his options.
