Although the transfer window is near its end this January, many clubs plan to sign players early in the summer transfer window. Two of those clubs are Manchester United and Chelsea. Both clubs hope to do business soon and are targeting a Premier League player fighting in the relegation battle.

The player Manchester United and Chelsea want to sign next summer is Crystal Palace's Michael Olise. Michael Olise has six goals and three assists in his last nine Premier League games with Palace. Palace are currently 14th in the Premier League with 24 points. Palace are 6 points above the relegation zone after winning 3-2 against Sheffield United. Olise scored a goal and assisted two in the Crystal Palace win.

The French player is left-footed and plays in the right-wing position, which is a position both Man United and Chelsea would like to fill. Chelsea plays Noni Madueke and Cole Palmer in that position, while Man United plays Alejandro Garnacho and Antony there. Both clubs would have to pay Crystal Palace 50 million euros to sign the winger.

Michael Olise is leaning towards picking Manchester United over Chelsea this summer

Crystal Palace might consider selling the player depending on how the season ends for the club. Michael Olise reportedly prefers a move to Manchester United than Chelsea. Olise is a lifelong Man United supporter and is aware of interest from United and the Blues. Olise would have to compete against Antony, Garnacho, and a returning Jadon Sancho next season for the right-wing position.
