In an entertaining game at Old Trafford between Manchester United and Tottenham, the two clubs share points as it ends 2-2. The game started electrically from the first minute since Old Trafford was loud to support their team. Man United go up to 7th with 32 points while Spurs remain 5th with 40 points. Spurs are level with Arsenal on points, but Arsenal has a game in hand. They are five points away from league leaders Liverpool FC.

Man United grabbed an early lead courtesy of Rasmus Hojlund. He struck the ball into the top of the net, past Vicario, and grabbed his second goal in the Premier League. He has seven goals this season for United in all competitions.

Spurs attempted to respond quickly and almost did when Spurs debutant Timo Werner headed the ball towards goal. Jonny Evans headed the ball away for a corner. The corner almost led to an equalizer as Dalot cleared a shot from Bentancur. This would foreshadow what would happen a few minutes later as Spurs scored an equalizer from another corner. Pedro Porro finds Richarlison, who heads the ball past Onana.

Marcus Rashford would give United the lead back just before halftime after striking the ball past Vicario into the far bottom corner. Romero was close to equalizing the game again before halftime by heading the ball onto the crossbar.

Bentancur grabs a quick equalizer for Spurs at the start of the second half

The second half started, and Man United received a bad surprise. Timo Werner gets played a great ball by Oliver Skipp on the left-hand side. Werner finds Bentancur, who runs past Evans and shoots a powerful shot past Onana into the far corner. Spurs had the momentum after the equalizer and had a couple of chances. Scott McTominay was close to getting the winner with a header in the box going the crossbar.

Radu Dragusin also debuted for Spurs when he came on with Emerson, replacing Skipp and Van de Ven in the 88th minute. Van de Ven gets a cramp before leaving the pitch, and Spurs fans pray it isn't another injury on the defender. Spurs will play Man City next in the FA Cup, while Man United will play the winner between Newport County and Eastleigh.
