After 13 successful seasons at Real Madrid, Luka Modrić has concluded a glorious chapter to embark on a new challenge at AC Milan. The Croatian midfielder, whose legacy will be eternally remembered in the Spanish capital, joins the Rossoneri project for a minimum of 12 months, with the possibility of extending his contract for another year.

Upon his arrival in Milan for his medical examination, Modrić offered his first words to the media, reflecting his enthusiasm for this new adventure. "I am very happy to be here; I am eager to face the challenges. We will have time to talk later," the Croatian expressed, visibly excited about his future in the San Siro district.

Real Madrid, for its part, understands that this was the ideal moment for both parties to go their separate ways. The Blancos club is confident that Modrić's insatiable competitive hunger will allow him to continue succeeding wherever his career takes him.

Luka Modrić's final match in a Real Madrid shirt was against Paris Saint-Germain, in a painful defeat that, nevertheless, does not in any way tarnish the Croatian's brilliant history at the Santiago Bernabéu. Modrić leaves the club as the most decorated player in Real Madrid's history, a true legend who will remain etched in the memory of the Blancos stadium.

His final message to the Madrid club after the Club World Cup in the United States exemplifies the deep connection and mutual respect between the player and the institution. "An unforgettable, glorious, and winning stage has ended. What I have experienced gives me more joy. Remembering everything I have achieved here makes me very happy, even if it's ending. At Real Madrid, I have grown as a player and as a person. Real Madrid has given me everything football-wise, and for that, I will be grateful my entire life. I will always be a Madridista," declared Modrić, before joining an AC Milan that, after a difficult season, sees him as their great savior.
