Liverpool winger Luis Díaz has heaped praise on his fellow Colombian striker, Jhon Jader Durán. In a recent interview with ESPN, Díaz discussed various topics, including his role at Liverpool, his national team ambitions, and his thoughts on the emerging talent of Durán.

Díaz expressed his satisfaction with his current role at Liverpool, crediting manager Arne Slot for creating a positive team environment. "We've created a family," Díaz said. "The coaching staff has worked hard to do a good job. We do what we practice in training. It's important to be first because it fills us with confidence."

Díaz Backs Colombian Striker Durán for Greatness

When asked about his compatriot Durán, who is making waves in the Premier League, Díaz was full of admiration. "Since I met him, since I've talked to him and seen him play, I knew he had the qualities to make it big," Díaz stated. "I said that this kid could make history. He can be an even better striker if he sets his mind to it. He's having a great moment, he's shining in the Premier League, and I'm happy for him. He's very calm and composed."

Díaz also discussed his ambitions with the Colombian national team, emphasizing the importance of qualifying for the next World Cup. "The main goal is to qualify for the World Cup as soon as possible," he said. "We have some important dates coming up and we have to go all out. We've had some tough defeats, but that's football. We can't dwell on it because if we do, we won't know how to overcome obstacles."

The Colombian winger's comments highlight the strong bond between the two players and the growing excitement around Colombian football on the global stage. As both Díaz and Durán continue to make their mark in the Premier League, fans will be eager to see how their careers progress.
