Follow the action from the 2 of the Clausura Liga MX 2025 minute by minute
1-1 draw and both Toluca and Rayados share points.
Monterrey puts pressure on in the final minutes
Final minutes and Rayados are going all out. Toluca is holding on, but the rivals are constantly attacking.
Changes for Monterrey
Departure: Arteaga and Berterame
Enter: Aguirre and De la Rosa
Yellow card for Zaragoza
Late kick on Arteaga and the referee who does not hesitate to paint him yellow
Andraaaaada
Once again, the Argentine showed his great confidence and was in great shape when Vega shot towards goal. The match is in anyone's hands.
Paaaalo and Toluca is saved
Canales' shot hit the base of the right post, Toluca breathes and stays alive.
Andraaaaaaaada
Dangerous shot from Alexis Vega that looked to go into the corner. Great reaction from La Sabandija to send it to the corner.
Toluca insists
Little by little, but the attacks are starting to become more dangerous. There is more order and idea, although Monterrey has shown itself to be solid in defense.
Ceeeeerca Monterrey
Once again the defense saves the goal, and in response to Torres' shot they are present to prevent the goal that would have put them at a disadvantage.
Voooooolpi
Great save from the Brazilian against Berterame's shot. Toluca is not suffering, but must be careful because at any flash, Rayados could turn the tables on them.
Match locked
It seems that creativity has run out and the game is stagnating without any dangerous actions. Toluca has possession but without creating any danger.
From other leagues, the Spanish thing
A wall pass down the left flank, a couple of feints in the six-yard box, and a finish worthy of all its value on the market. The video will be available soon.
Gooooooooaal from Monterrey
Sergio Canales scored a tremendous goal to tie the match
Second half starts
The whistle blows and the excitement starts again. Toluca is ahead and Monterrey is hoping to achieve at least a draw.
With a great goal from Helinho, Toluca and Rayados go into the break.
Huge Luaaaaaaan
The defender's leg saved the game and prevented Berterame's shot from ending up in the net. Toluca was saved from a possible equaliser just minutes before half-time.
The hand of the Turk is beginning to be seen
Matchday 2 and Mohamed's style is starting to show. Key triangulations in the final stretch of the pitch, too much play inside, constant search for the break in rival lines.
Caaaaasi Berterame
The Devils made a mistake on the front line and Germán almost took advantage to tie the game. In the end, Volpi was able to make up for his teammates' mistake and prevent it from getting worse.
Toluca regains possession
The Rayada inertia is over and now it is the Devils who are pulling the strings again. They are in no hurry and remain calm when creating danger.
Ceeeeeeerca Monterrey
Berterame's header goes just wide. Monterrey tries, but precision has not been their ally.
Canaaaaales
Another left-footed shot from the Spaniard just went over the crossbar. Monterrey is starting to look for long-distance shots or individual actions, as they are not able to be dangerous as a team.
Little and nothing of Tecatito
Demichelis gave him confidence, but Corona's contribution is minimal. He doesn't seem confident or even in the right place.
Monterrey desperate
They are still excited, but without a clear idea when it comes to attacking. The pressure and desperation are becoming more and more noticeable as time goes by.
Voooolpi
Canales' shot was stopped in great fashion by Tiago Volpi. A back-and-forth game with certain inclinations more in favor of the Devils.
They can't contain Helinho
The party that the Brazilian is having on the left wing is indescribable. Arteaga cannot do it alone, and Deossa is quite limited in his support by having to cover for him. Demichelis must make adjustments or things will get worse as the minutes go by.
Close to the double
Another left-footed shot from Helinho that went just over the rival goal. Monterrey retreated and the Turk's men looking to take advantage of the moment,
Toluca's goooooooooal
Helinho's left-footed shot hits the post and finds its way into the opponent's net. Great play down the left flank ends in a great goal for the Devils to open the scoring.
Toluca puts a pause
First 10 minutes and now it's the Devils who are proposing a different pace. More analytical, more cautious and with their proposals better thought out.
Player lying down
Bad news for Luan Garcia, who, in a routine rejection, appears to have made a false move that, for the moment, allowed the assistants to enter. It seems that he will be able to continue, but he is injured.
Split Possession
Both Toluca and Monterrey want to strike quickly and are extremely excited when taking the ball. A couple of attacks from each side that, so far, have only been scares without any major danger.
Without Paulinho today, but for three more years
Without Paulino due to physical discomfort. Throughout the week, the Portuguese player had some discomfort and that is why he is an option for tonight. However, the good news for the Devils is that they signed his extension until 2028, so there is a killer for a while.
The first half begins.
