FC Barcelona has been struggling financially and has given Xavi a hard time being able to sign quality players. Barcelona have signed both Joao Felix and Joao Cancelo on season-long loans. Free transfers have also brought new players to improve the squad, but the issue is that it makes it difficult to find quality players.

With Xavi desiring to upgrade the squad for the upcoming season, the Barcelona board must make some critical decisions to bring in new reinforcements. The only logical way to find money to sign quality players for Barcelona is to sell some players that could go for a lot. Some of the names that can be sold for a reasonable amount are Frenkie de Jong, Raphinha, Jules Kounde, Ferran Torres, Lewandowski, and Christensen.

Although Barcelona is willing to sell these valuable players, they have labeled three players in the squad as 'untouchable' and won't let them go. SPORT has reported that the three players Barca wants to keep and include in the club's future are Pedri, Gavi, and Ronald Araujo. These three names make sense since Barca signed Pedri at a young age with lots of potential. Gavi and Araujo have been a part of La Masia and identify as a big part of the club.

Ronald Araujo has caught the eye of Bayern Munich, and according to Mundo Deportivo, the German giants were willing to spend around 80 million euros for his signature. Bayern manager Thomas Tuchel and Christoph Freund, Bayern Munich's sporting director, are very interested in the Uruguayan defender and will bid higher than 100 million euros if necessary to convince Barca to sell.

Barca insists on not wanting to sell the defender as they label him 'non-transferrable' along with Pedri and Gavi. Araujo has spoken about the rumors about him leaving the Catalan club.

Araujo stated, "Every transfer window, we have stories about me; they also talked about Man United last summer. My focus is on Barcelona. I'm doing my best for Barça, 100%. It's a privilege to wear the captain's armband; I feel the responsibility."

Barcelona feels the core three players who will carry them in the next decade are Pedri, Gavi, and Araujo. We shall see if any other player from La Masia or in the squad can be in Barca's plans for many years.
