FC Barcelona is into the final of the Spanish Super Cup, and they will face their biggest rival, Real Madrid. During the semifinal game against Osasuna, Brazilian winger Raphinha suffered a left hamstring injury in the first half and had to be substituted. Lamine Yamal was his replacement and came onto the pitch late in the first half.

The first half was a struggle for Barca as the first half ended 0-0. The team played much better, with substitutes like Pedri and Joao Felix coming in the second half. Gundogan found a great pass to Lewandowski, who finished the chance by shooting at the near post.

For the second goal, Joao Felix started the play with a creative flick to Pedri and was quickly given the ball back. Felix would nutmeg an Osasuna player to cut inside and pass the ball to Yamal. Yamal would cut inside to his strong foot and scored past the keeper to confirm the win for Barca.

Xavi was satisfied with the performance and mentioned all three substitutes for positively changing the game. Xavi says, "Félix has been very good; he has come on very well, like Lamine Yamal and Pedri." The Spanish manager continues to comment on Yamal and says, "Lamine Yamal does practically everything well with the ball. Everything makes sense. He doesn't lose balls, he has the decision making. The pity is that he's only 16 years old, and that shows in the physical duel, but he's an extraordinary talent."

Lamine Yamal could become the youngest scorer in El Clasico if he scores against Real Madrid in the final

With Raphinha injured, Yamal has an opportunity to start the game against Real Madrid on Sunday. If the 16-year-old scores against Los Blancos, he will become the youngest player in Barca's history to score in El Clasico. The current record holder for that is Ansu Fati, who scored when he was 17 years and 359 days old. In February, Yamal could also break the youngest Barca goalscorer in the Champions League. Fati also holds that record, as he scored when he was 17 years and 40 days old.
