Klopp's replacement found? Liverpool to appoint their next manager for 3 years

Liverpool, along with other European giants such as FC Barcelona and Bayern Munich, are desperate to find managers ahead of the next season. All of their current managers are set to leave their respective clubs for different reasons, and the clubs are left with intensely searching for the right candidates to coach their teams. The Reds have been linked with many names, with the favorite being Xabi Alonso, but after the Spanish manager confirmed that next season would feature him on the touchlines for Bayer Leverkusen games, Liverpool had to quickly look at other options. While one of their candidates seemed to be one of the favorites to take over, the club has reportedly offered a contract to a candidate already.

Liverpool had Roberto De Zerbi as one of the names on their shortlist of candidates to replace Jurgen Klopp, but the Italian could join Bayern Munich next summer after the German giants have shown lots of interest in him. Ruben Amorim then became the number one target for Liverpool to replace Klopp, but some were unsure if it could happen since the Portuguese coach has no experience in the Premier League.

Those doubts have been erased, and new reports suggest that Amorim will soon become the next Liverpool coach after Klopp leaves the club at the end of the season. Portuguese journalist Pedro Sepúlveda reports that Liverpool offers Rúben Amorim a contract for the next three seasons. Financial terms are almost agreed upon, and negotiations remain positive for Amorim to become Liverpool's next coach. It is expected that Liverpool will pay a $16.1 million release clause this summer to Sporting CP.

Ruben Amorim unsure about his future at Sporting CP

A few days ago, Ruben Amorim did not assure that he would continue in Sporting CP next season after revealing that he wouldn't confirm himself staying at the club for longer. These comments have Liverpool fans excited as he said, "I can not guarantee that I will stay at Sporting next season. I can’t say that like Xabi Alonso did. We have time to discuss my future, we will do that at the right time."
