Jean-Clair Todibo is chased by many clubs like PSG and Manchester United this summer and will bid big to OGC Nice from Ligue 1. He is worth around $40 million and plays as a center-back. He moved from FC Barcelona to OGC Nice in 2021 for $9 million. Todibo joined FC Barcelona in 2019 for $2 million as he seemed to be a prospect and the future of Barca. He played a couple of games with the Catalan club and was loaned out to clubs like Benfica and Schalke 04.
In an interview with Canal Plus, he was asked about Barca and how he would be open to return to the club. Todibo said, "A return to Barcelona? Why not? When I arrived at Barça, the plan was for me to replace Piqué. I had the qualities to do it, but I wasn't ready to do it. I don't regret it, not at all. FC Barcelona is still a great experience. I learned a lot from Gerard Piqué, Samuel Umtiti, Clément Lenglet... It did me good. I discovered the very, very high level. I didn't have the desired minutes because there were very, very big players in front of me. I also had a coach, Ernesto Valverde, who was under pressure, so it was normal for him to put Gerard Piqué instead of an inexperienced 19-year-old."
