Manchester City is currently winning 1-0 against Bournemouth away at the Vitality Stadium. Bournemouth were defending for the most part early in the second half as Man City played at their half with lots of possession. Man City have had to counter Bournemouth in order to create the most dangerous chances.

In the 8th minute, Phil Foden finds a great pass to Erling Haaland. Haaland was headed toward goal, but he took an early shot and sent it wide. Bournemouth responded a minute late with a long shot by Kikez. Ederson tipped the ball over for a corner and stopped Bournemouth from scoring the opener.

Ederson almost made a silly mistake in the 13th minute after the Brazilian collected the ball by rushing out. Ederson's clearance hit against a Bournemouth player, but Ederson catches the ball quickly.

In the 24th minute, Kovacic chips a ball in the box for Haaland, who outmuscles a Bournemouth defender and takes a shot on target. Neto makes the save, but the rebound falls to Foden, who calmly places the ball into the empty net.

Foden had more chances to score in the first half with another shot on target and a long shot from outside the shot.

Man City is currently on 59 points with this scoreline and needs to hold onto the lead in the second half to be a point below league leader Liverpool.
