When Xavi was asked about playing against PSG soon, Xavi said, "Playing against PSG? They are one of the toughest opponents we could have played. I know Luis Enrique, his staff, and part of the squad very well. We have the illusion and the hope of making a good quarter-final. It’s time to dream and show that we can compete against one of the best teams in Europe."

Xavi said that PSG is potentially a favorite against Barcelona, but he tells the media that his team has something over them. Xavi said, "We know that Paris Saint-Germain are probably the favorites because of the huge transfers that they made…But remember, we have the history by our side with more Champions League trophies. PSG are not going to beat us in terms of enthusiasm and desire. We’ll have to prove it on the pitch; it's very easy to talk. It's a decisive moment in the season. The team is in a very good state of confidence. There's still a long way to go before the tie against PSG. Hopefully, we can get players back; we won’t have any more injuries."

PSG's manager, Luis Enrique, spoke about FC Barcelona

PSG's coach, Luis Enrique, spoke about the upcoming Champions League game against his former club, FC Barcelona. Enrique said, "Barcelona is the city where I spent most of my career. It is a very difficult and high-level team. We will have to show that we deserve to qualify. Playing at the city of Barcelona is like 'I'm coming home', like Christmas. I don't know Xavi's work as a coach, but he knows my job because I coached him. I wish Xavi, Guardiola or Arteta would coach alongside me. Someone like Xavi has this level and has won the Champions League several times."
