With Real Madrid deep in the thick of the Club World Cup, the club's board is already looking to the future, aware that the coming weeks will be crucial. After the global tournament, the Blancos will reactivate operations to finalize next season's squad, a process that will involve both new signings and, inevitably, significant departures. Because before bringing players in, they must make space.
Currently, up to three Madridistas find themselves in a delicate situation, with real possibilities of leaving the team. The most talked-about cases are those of Rodrygo and Dani Ceballos, both of whom have seen limited playing time under Xabi Alonso, a trend that has become evident during this Club World Cup. Both could bid farewell to Real Madrid if offers arrive that satisfy the club's financial demands.
But beyond them, another key name in this equation is Endrick. The young Brazilian forward, with Gonzalo's emergence in the team, finds himself in a complicated position. Gonzalo, thanks to his goals in the Club World Cup, has earned the right to stay in the first team next season. This decision, logically, directly affects Endrick, whose continued presence at Real Madrid is no longer guaranteed.
The club is already evaluating options for the Brazilian's future. The only alternative Real Madrid is considering is that Endrick could leave on loan this summer. They see it as an opportunity for the young talent to continue growing and accumulating valuable minutes, as Madrid doesn't want Endrick to stay without the certainty that he will be important for Xabi Alonso. The Brazilian, for his part, has expressed his desire to stay next season and is not currently contemplating a departure.
Thus, Rodrygo, Ceballos, and Endrick are, right now, the three possible departures from Real Madrid. Although their situations are different, the outcome could be the same for all of them. After the Club World Cup, the club will try to define next season's squad as soon as possible. Furthermore, Madrid knows that if they want to sign a midfielder, they first have to offload some players. While all of them, for now, wish to remain at Real Madrid, the summer is long, and Xabi Alonso's firm stance could lead some to accept their departure from the Blancos.
