Al Nassr and Al Hilal are two of the biggest clubs in Saudi Arabia, and they will once again meet in the Saudi Pro League. Cristiano Ronaldo and Al Nassr have a heated rivalry with Al Hilal, and more than ever since, the two have been competing for many trophies. Al Hilal’s manager, Jorge Jesus, has guided the team to win the Saudi Pro League for the 19th time in its history and has not lost a single game in the league. The Portuguese manager looks forward to beating Ronaldo’s Al Nassr, but he gives him praise, which CR7 would appreciate but would anger many fans. Jorge Jesus said, “For me, Cristiano Ronaldo is better than Lionel Messi, no doubt.”

Jorge Jesus went a bit further about comparing Ronaldo and Messi, which creates a debate today among football fans and players. During his time at Benfica, Jesus compared the two with Diego Armando Maradona and said, “He [Maradona] was world class but had the passion for the game, he was born to be a footballer, he was born with everything. It was love, all the feeling that he had for the ball. Today, amongst the best in the world, Cristiano Ronaldo has a little bit of that; Messi has nothing. He has no passion at all.”

The Portuguese manager also praised his player Neymar Jr., who joined Al Hilal last summer and has only played five games with the Saudi Arabain club since he suffered an ACL injury last October that has kept him out for the rest of the season. Jesus believes Neymar is up to the level of Ronaldo and Messi and said, “Neymar Jr. is one of the most important players in the world and is ranked among the top three players along with Ronaldo and Messi.”
