FC Barcelona continues to get bad results this season after their 3-3 draw against Granada. FC Barcelona is not getting any closer to Real Madrid, who are constantly winning games in La Liga this season. Some of the members of Barca admit that winning La Liga this season will be a difficult task to accomplish after more lost points are occurring again.

After Xavi's announcement to leave the club this summer, the Spanish manager believed it would improve the performances this season. After his announcement, FC Barcelona has two wins and one draw. All those performances were unconvincing for the Barca board, and now Xavi could leave the club earlier than expected. The Champions League game against Napoli will be key to determining whether Xavi will stay for the rest of the season. Xavi spoke after the Granada draw and said, "Today is a step backwards. The players are very angry and sad. We did not play at our level, and we lost an opportunity. I was just with Laporta. He's positive, and he encouraged us. He's very disappointed, though; we're all the same."

The only highlight for the Barcelona team was Lamine Yamal. The 16-year-old helped Barcelona get through the game, scoring a brace. Yamal's brace against Granada broke records. Yamal became the youngest player to score a brace in La Liga history. He's also the youngest player to reach +10 G/A contributions, with 16 years and 213 days. Yamal is also the youngest player in La Liga history to score two goals in one game and is the first to score three goals in La Liga before turning 17.

Yamal spoke after the game and felt disappointed rather than happy for the records he broke. Yamal said, "I work very hard, and I'm always at the manager's disposal. "We have to continue working and take advantage of every opportunity. Xavi told us that we must press more and play hard. I'm thinking about the draw and the lost opportunity over myself or my MOTM award. There are still many games left to win the league, the teams in front can also drop points. The coach gives me confidence; I'm fully with him. We concede too many goals, like today, we have to improve."
