Cristiano Ronaldo spoke out following Al-Nassr’s painful exit from the AFC Champions League, sharing a message full of pride and gratitude towards his teammates and supporters. The Portuguese star took to social media after the semi-final defeat, where his side failed to reach the much-desired continental final.

Despite the disappointment, Ronaldo remained composed and praised the team’s collective effort. “Sometimes the dream has to wait. I am proud of this team and of everything we gave on the pitch,” he wrote, highlighting the commitment shown throughout the campaign.

He also made sure to acknowledge the role of the fans: “Thank you to all the fans who believed in us and supported us every step of the way. Your support means everything,” he added. The post was warmly received by Al-Nassr supporters, many of whom responded with messages of encouragement and respect.

The elimination marks another setback for Ronaldo in his pursuit of international club honours with the Saudi side, though it is clear the project continues with him at the forefront.

Individually, the forward delivered a strong campaign in the AFC Champions League, finishing as one of the top scorers and proving crucial in key moments. However, his efforts were not enough to push Al-Nassr over the line.

Ronaldo is already focused on what lies ahead. With the Saudi league still up for grabs, his ambition remains unchanged, and he aims to close the season by adding another domestic trophy to his storied career.

Cristiano stays focused as the next challenge awaits

Although the continental dream slipped away, Ronaldo’s winning mentality remains unshaken. He continues to lead Al-Nassr’s project with determination and is fully committed to finishing the season strongly. His message made it clear: setbacks are not the end, but rather fuel for a greater comeback. The legend is far from done.
