Cristiano Ronaldo is still going strong on the football pitch despite being 39 years old, which is the age at which most players are already retired or are about to retire. Ronaldo doesn’t look ready to hang up the boots as he had an incredible season with Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia. In the Saudi Pro League, he is the top goal scorer and the player with the most goal contributions. Ronaldo has recently officially partnered up with Whoop to keep track of his health. CR7 reportedly spends over $1 million on tracking his health. Ronaldo contacted Whoop to partner with them since the Portuguese star often uses it during training and even during Al Nassr games.

Ronaldo reportedly has a 7% body fat percentage, which is a percentage that is very hard for most people to achieve. Ronaldo works out of 3-4 hours 5 days a week, which includes team training with Al Nassr and some workouts at home. CR7 is known to put in extra work compared to other players, and this has kept him at the highest level possible in football. Most of his workouts include a mobility routine with cables, strength training with weights, bodyweight exercises (Leg & Abs focused), and cardiovascular workouts like running and swimming.

The Portuguese star’s diet is also very essential to perform and look great at 39 years old. Ronaldo’s diet consists of eating six small meals a day. Some of the types of foods that he eats are Fish, Eggs, Fruits, Steak, salads, chicken, and vegetables. The Portuguese player includes lots of protein in his diet in order to keep or gain muscles, but he also eats a few cheat meals on a few occasions.

Ronaldo’s strict recovery process

Although CR7 is very athletic and performs at a very high level, the Portuguese star understands that he isn’t getting any younger and makes sure to have a great recovery routine to maintain a high level physically. Ronaldo takes five 30-minute naps a day, along with an 8-hour sleep. He also uses cryotherapy, cold plunges, and massage guns. The Al Nassr striker reportedly has signed a deal with Therabody (the massage gun company he uses) for almost $2,000,000/year.
