Chelsea defeated Crystal Palace 3-1 at Selhurst Park as the Blues found the equalizer early in the second half. The win gives Chelsea a boost in the Premier League table. Chelsea had too much of the ball in the first half, but they created no dangerous chances. Their first shot was from Conor Gallagher, which went wide in the 45th minute of the first half. Chelsea couldn't break down Crystal Palace, and the home team took advantage of one of their chances.

After a mistake by Noni Madueke giving the ball away, Jefferson Lerma fires a great strike that goes past Petrovic and into the top right corner of the net. The goal arrived in the 30th minute, and Palace looked more daring in front of goal. They took six shots and three shots on target to Chelsea's 0 until Gallagher's late chance in the first half.

The second half took long to start as a delay was caused by difficulties with the referee’s technical equipment. After the long delay, Chelsea grabbed an early equalizer. In the 47th minute, Malo Gusto crosses the ball in the box, and Conor Gallagher takes a first-time shot past Dean Henderson to make it 1-1.

Similar to the first goal, Gallagher doesn't think twice and shoots the ball into the bottom left corner. Conor Gallagher has scored in back-to-back games for Chelsea for the first time.

Chelsea weren't finished there as three minutes later, another counterattack led to another goal. Palmer gets his second assist of the day as he passes the ball to Enzo Fernandez in the box. Fernandez sits the last Palace defender down, and as he gains composure, he shoots the ball into the top left corner to make it 3-1. Chelsea is now 10th in the table with 34 points, while Palace remains 15th with 24 points.
