Chelsea look the more threatening side in the first half against Fulham. Chelsea had a total of five shots, three were off-target, and two were on target. Fulham also had two shots on target, but the game has been better from the London boys in blue.

Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez have improved from the previous weeks as they recovered the ball quickly to attack. Djordje Petrovic has made two vital saves, and Colwill has been solid at the left-back position.

Cole Palmer scores again for Chelsea and gives the Blues a 1-0 lead at halftime

Not many clear chances were created by Chelsea's attack apart from Cole Palmer, who looked the most dangerous up top. The English player is playing on the right-hand side and took a shot on target before he scored the first goal. Late in the first half, Palmer finds Sterling in the box, and his feet get clipped by Fulham's Diop. The referee awards Chelsea a penalty. Palmer scores by slotting the ball on the bottom right, sending Leno the wrong way.

That is Palmer's fifth penalty attempt and fifth goal from the spot. He now has nine goals in the Premier League this season and four assists, putting the youngster at 13 goal contributions. Only four players in the league have more than him: Heung-Min Son [17], Ollie Watkins [17], Erling Haaland [18], and Mohamed Salah [22]. The Chelsea summer signing has been a revelation for the London side and continues to show his quality in the team.
