But while the issues in the defense can be attributed to injuries, especially Marc Andre Ter Stegen, in the attack its down to the level of quality. The Portuguese international joined on loan from Atletico Madrid, and after a bright start to the season where it looked like he was back to his Benfica form, that form faltered. The goals dried up and now it will be interesting to see what Barcelona do in the summer when it comes to Felix’s future.

Barcelona welcomed the addition of a highly touted youngster this winter in Vitor Roque as the Brazilian joined from Athletico Paranaense. Vitor Roque is one of what Barcelona hopes to be many young talents that comes to the club as Barcelona look to finally properly rebuild and start the post Messi Era. They are linked with a few other great young talents including another Brazilian called Estevao Willian from Palmeiras. South America is not the only place Barca is shopping, as they are also scouting around Europe.
