The club described the injuries in their statement. Victor was replaced by Martinez after 69 minutes, as the Argentina international made his first appearance since early February. Unfortunately, Licha has now sustained a calf strain in training and is unavailable for the next few games."

Lindelof has been playing often this Premier League season for Manchester United as he played 19 matches where he started in 14. In Martinez's case, it has been a rough season for the Argentine. Licha Martinez has only played nine Premier League matches for Manchester United this season. The game against Brentford was his first game back since February, in a game against West Ham United in a 3-0 win at Old Trafford.
