Joselu was the man of the match last night after scoring an impressive brace. He scored the first in the 14th minute with a bullet header past the Getafe keeper. The second goal arrived in the second half after receiving a great pass from Vinicius Jr. Joselu beats the Getafe defender with a great touch in the ball and slots it in the bottom right corner with his left foot.

Jude Bellingham did not score or assist but impressed in the midfield. Bellingham created three chances and took a shot on target. Despite playing in a deeper role compared to playing further up the pitch throughout the whole season, he still had six touches of the ball in the opposition box. He won 44% of his ground tackles but 100% of his aerial tackles.

Despite his great performances, some people praised what he did after he tackled Getafe’s Mason Greenwood in the game. After his tackle, Bellingham is seen calling Greenwood a r*pist. Fans aren't sure if he actually said that but are lip-reading his mouth. Greenwood was charged with sexual assault in January 2022, and the prosecutors dropped the attempted rape case.
