Bad news for Neymar again that worries the fans, the new event he would miss because of his injury

Neymar Jr. suffered a terrible ACL injury back in October while playing for the Brazilian national team against Uruguay in a World Cup Qualifiers match. The Brazilian star had just recently made his move to Saudi Arabia, but an injury in the first half against Uruguay back on October 17th, 2023, has kept him out for the rest of the season and for the Copa America 2024. While his recovery seems to be going in the right direction, it still has not been ideal for the Brazilian, as he wants to come back to the pitch as soon as possible. Al Hilal officially confirmed that Neymar will not be a part of the Al Hilal summer camp in preparation for the next season.

Al Hilal’s manager, Jorge Jesus, told the bad news about Neymar not being a part of the summer camp the team will have in preparation for next season. The Portuguese manager said, “These injuries take a very long time. The player [Neymar] is still not ready and will not participate with the team at the beginning of the preparation period. The club will not rush his return until he is fully ready.”

Neymar has posted multiple videos of his rehab work in the gym of the Al Hilal facilities and shown videos of him playing and juggling with the ball. Neymar recently posted a picture on his Instagram story of him wearing the Al Hilal training kit, but he was not around his teammates as he is yet to be fully fit for intense training sessions. It has now been seven months since the Brazilian star suffered an ACL injury while playing for the Brazilian national team. Neymar only played five matches for Al Hilal this season.

Neymar could end this season with three trophies

Despite missing the majority of the season with Al Hilal, Neymar has already lifted two trophies this season. Al Hilal won the Saudi Super Cup and won the Saudi Pro League. The team included Neymar in the celebrations despite him having just five appearances for the club. Now, Al Hilal will fight to win the King’s Cup trophy against Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr on May 31st, the last day of the season.
