Jurgen Klopp has been in charge of Liverpool for more than eight years and has found success in the club with multiple trophies. Liverpool was struggling before his arrival and was deemed as the sleeping giant in England. Klopp is loved by Liverpool fans for bringing back the joy to the club with historic wins in the Champions League and in the Premier League. His announcement of leaving the club at the end of the season broke Liverpool fans' hearts, but they will support him with his decision. The rest of the season for Liverpool will feel special as the time of Klopp at Anfield is soon ending.

Liverpool are making sure to appoint the right manager to replace Klopp. While Liverpool fans are worried about the new manager, Klopp insists that the new manager will do well with the club's resources. Klopp said, "This team will attract top-class managers, 100%. The next manager might play a different kind of football or not, but he will get the push from this fanbase."

Klopp talked about how special the club is and how he felt that he came at the right time in 2015. Klopp said, " I think I came in at the right moment because it got lost a little bit and maybe I was the one who helped everyone to understand again how important it is. The club is special. Not because of the buildings – other clubs have nice stadiums – but because of the people. It’s all about the people.”

Jurgen Klopp clarifies the retirement rumors and says he is just "stepping aside"

In an interview with Sky Sports, which was a preview of the game against Manchester City, Klopp addressed the rumors of him retiring from coaching football after Liverpool. While the German coach will take a break from football for a year, Klopp assures that he won't retire. Klopp said, "So I think some other people used that word [retirement] when I had my announcement & I thought that’s the right way to say it… I just step aside here, so that’s the idea. I don’t know what is happening after."
