Liverpool continues to receive bad news about the health of their players. Liverpool will not be counting on Thiago, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Stefan Bajcetic, Joel Matip, Curtis Jones, Diogo Jota, Ben Doak, Ryan Grvenberch, and Mohammed Salah. Alisson Becker was an unexpected injury for the team since he suffered during training. The Brazilian keeper has expected to be back soon but now Jurgen Klopp gives an update saying the injury is more serious than the staff expected.

Andrew Robertson, Wataru Endo, Dominik Szoboszlai, and Darwin Nunez have recovered from their injuries. Alisson still has to be sidelined while those players are back in the squad. Klopp mentions that the injury is serious and not a short one. Klopp said, "Alisson has suffered a serious injury, not a short one. There is no real timescale on it, but it is proper muscle injury. It’s not a short one. It is a rather serious one, but not a season-ending injury."

Alisson Becker earns a weekly salary of around $190k, according to Capalogy.com. Alisson is expected to miss past the March international break. The Brazilian could miss up to 6-7 weeks guaranteed. Liverpool would be losing up to $1.3 million during the Brazilians' absence since the player won't be able to contribute to the team.

Klopp is worried for Alisson but believes the team is in good hands with Irish keeper Caoimhín Kelleher. Klopp said, "I love [Kelleher]. I've said it very often: goalkeepers need rhythm. Caoimhin knows, he's confident, he can play in other teams and we have Alisson Becker. So we gave him the Europa games, and then he's played while Ali has been injured."
