Marcus Rashford has come in for criticism from Thierry Henry after the Manchester United striker wasted two good chances during the 2-0 victory against Tottenham. Rashford had a golden opportunity to put United ahead in the first half but  Hugo Lloris stop Rashford's across shoot at Tottenham's goal. Unfortunately, Rashford didn't get on the scoresheet.

And Henry believes the 24-year-old should have done better with his earlier chances. Rashford had a good opportunity to put Manchester United ahead in the first half. Then, in the second half, Rashford was through on goal again and once again Lloris made a good save that prevented him from scoring.

Henry criticized Rashford for not being more clinical in front of the goal. Rashford has been in good form for Manchester United this season, for the time being, he is the Red Devils' top scorer with five goals in all competitions. However, he will no doubt be disappointed with his performance against Tottenham.

What Rashford needs to work on

Thiery Henry clarified during a tv show what the Red Devil needed to work on. "This is what I say when this ball is coming to you, have a look at the goalkeeper to freeze him. Strikers don't do that often, the ball is coming to you, you know it, you have to look at the goalkeeper to freeze him and he never looked", he said. But he also considered Rashford only relied on his power while aiming to score. “What you do normally, he just fires low and across. Power is not always the answer. You open the ball up, just finish it. Place it down. Why hard? ”
