Here are the nominees for The Best FIFA Men's Player Award

The Best FIFA Awards' nominee list has been unveiled, leaving us with numerous questions. The Best FIFA Men's Player award, created in 2016 according to official information, recognizes the best footballers at the end of the season. This means that fans worldwide eagerly await the award ceremony to see if their favorite players are among the nominees. So far, there have been three footballers who have won this prestigious football award multiple times, their club achievements earning them worldwide recognition.

Among the top winners with two distinctions each is Cristiano Ronaldo, who has been a legend at clubs such as Manchester United, Juventus, and Real Madrid. During his time with the Spanish club alone, the Portuguese forward secured five Champions League titles, an achievement that few footballers can boast. On the other hand, Lionel Messi also has two The Best FIFA Awards to his name, earned during his tenure at FC Barcelona. Both Messi and Ronaldo have become the primary figures in football, a rivalry that, according to Cristiano, has already concluded.

Additionally, there's Robert Lewandowski, who, after winning the treble with Bayern Munich, chose to shine outside of Germany and the Bundesliga, setting his sights on Spanish soccer. With this, Lewandowski joins Cristiano Ronaldo and Messi in the list of top winners of The Best FIFA Award.

Furthermore, this year, with football's former generation of stars on their way out, we find ourselves in a transitional period where many young players from the new generation have made a name for themselves and have been included in this year's list. Many of these youngsters have promising futures and are set to remain influential figures in the world of global soccer in the coming years.

The List:

It's worth noting that the list is not in a fixed chronological order. As per FIFA, The Best does NOT include the 2022 World Cup. The qualification period is from 19th Dec, 2022 to 20th August, 2023.
