Lionel Messi is already back in Miami after his week with the Argentine National Team where he had important action. The player performed in a great way with the Albiceleste and was key to his team's victory against Ecuador. However, he did not have action in the last match against Bolivia because he did not feel in full condition to play the match. This raises doubts about Messi's presence for the next game with Miami.

Inter Miami faces Atlanta United next Saturday, September 16. In theory, enough time for Messi to recover significantly in the following matches. However, Gerardo Martino could decide not to risk it taking into account that there are still vital games where Lionel Messi will be needed in the best of conditions. Inter Miami continues in its search to try to sneak into the playoffs for this season, however, it must continue to add as many points as possible if it really wants to have any chance to do so.

The presence of the Argentine star on September 16 against Atlanta United will depend on how he feels physically and the determination that Martino will make. The coach of the Argentine national team, Lionel Scaloni, chose on Tuesday not to include Messi among the players available to face Bolivia. "Leo (Messi) was not ready to play. He tried to recover but did not feel comfortable.
