Throughout history, many footballers have orchestrated memorable performances by scoring abysmal amounts of goals.
Players such as Messi, Lewandowski or Cristiano Ronaldo have scored as many as five goals in a single match. However, if we're talking about the speed of doing so, which player has scored a hat-trick of goals the fastest?

On November 28, 1964, Tommy Ross scored the fastest hat-trick in soccer history in just 90 seconds. It brought him a mythical recognition in the Guinness Book of Records that no one could take away from him. It came in a hat-trick in the match between Ross County and Nairn County for Scottish regional soccer held during the 1964-1965 season.

The record was not recognized to Tommy Ross until four decades later, as only the referee's stopwatch was used in that match and at least two minute clocks were needed to validate the record.

That was the Scottish striker's last season with Ross County, where he scored 71 goals in 78 matches. The author of the fastest hat trick in history played until 1977 for Peterborough United, York City and Wigan Athletic among others.
