While Messi stands out for his humility, Mbappé's new controversy for being arrogant

Kylian Mbappe has deleted an Instagram story after appearing to have a dig at Paris Saint-Germain for the way he is being used at the club. The 23-year-old has been used through the middle as a central forward, with Neymar typically off the left and Lionel Messi coming in from the right-wing. However, with Messi injured and Neymar rested, Mbappe started alongside Carlos Soler and Paulo Sarabia as a front-three.

Mbappe posted a picture of himself with the hashtag “pivot gang” on his Instagram story. That's a reference to the France international not wanting to play up front alone. In the same post, Mbappe said, as translated into English: “Draw, meeting Tuesday.” For his country, Mbappe plays up front alongside Olivier Giroud rather than out wide. The pair both scored in France's 2-0 win over Austria last month, with Antoine Griezmann playing in the No.10 role.

But there isn't much Galtier can do to suit Mbappe and play him alongside a target man. Hugo Ekiteke is the club's only recognised striker at the moment after Mauro Icardi joined Galatasaray on loan in the summer transfer window, and the 20-year-old is just getting used to PSG's style before he is used more often. This is occurring amid Mbappe and Neymar's feud, with the duo reportedly unhappy at the club. They clashed back in August after Neymar ignored the club's spot-kick rankings.

Soler finding it difficult at PSG

Soler arrived at the Parc des Princes from Valencia in the summer for £16.2 million. He has made 13 appearances across all competitions, scoring three goals and providing an assist. However, Soler has had to contend with a formidable trio of Neymar, Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe for a starting berth in Galtier's side. The Spaniard is having to bide his time to make a real impact at PSG. Soler impressed for Valencia last season, making 38 appearances, scoring 12 goals and contributing five assists.
