Lionel Messi displayed an excellent performance in the round of 16 win against Australia, as Argentina booked a place in the quarter-finals following the 2-1 victory. Messi broke the deadlock with a fine finish to increase his tally in Qatar to 3 goals as he strives to actualise the dream of winning the world cup.
