While Liverpool offers 100 million for Guimaraes, what Barcelona would pay for him

FC Barcelona is in a constant search for talent to strengthen the team, naturally, since they are one of the best teams in the world and that is what a club must do, live up to its great name. Now, one of the midfielders that FC Barcelona most wanted to sign, is close to leaving for another club.

This is, as you read in the title, Bruno Guimaraes. The Brazilian midfielder who has amazed the Premier League, playing for Newcastle United, a revelation team for two seasons. Now, despite the fact that FC Barcelona wants to sign him, Liverpool have already offered around 100 million euros to sign him.

But, how much could FC Barcelona offer for him? Fabrizio Romano explained it on his official Twitter account: “We understand that there is no specific release clause for Barcelona or any specific club in Bruno Guimaraes' new deal at Newcastle. The only clause is valid for all clubs and is £100m, as revealed in September. There are no other clauses, sources confirm.” That is, the same amount that Liverpool would offer.

Now FC Barcelona is looking at several players to be able to hire, however the priority they have is to be able to renew with other elements that have earned their place in the Catalonia team. According to Catalunya Radio, Deco is already talking about leaving Pedri, Araújo, among others for several years at FC Barcelona.

FC Barcelona and the rest of the teams in the competition did not have a match this week, since FIFA had matches with the national teams. Now, FC Barcelona is getting ready to play this October 22nd against none other than Athletic Club Bilbao. Furthermore, just 6 days later, Barca will face Real Madrid.
