Inter Miami still has an ace up its sleeve. After the star signings of Lionel Messi and Sergio Busquets, and the imminent arrival of Jordi Alba, the Florida franchise will seek to crown the transfer market with Luis Suárez. Yes, despite the fact that he still has a contract with Gremio until 2024, the journalist Gastón Edul reported this Tuesday that the MLS club advanced for the Uruguayan and they are optimistic to have him in this same window.

It is not a secret that the number 9's desire is to land at the DRV PNK Stadium to close his career with Messi, but his clause is 70 million euros. However, the Inter managers are looking for a solution and the feeling, today, is that the transfer can be contracted in the coming days. Now, will he be a franchise player?

As reported by Edul, the strategy that Jorge Mas and company plans to use is to incorporate him with a low contract until 2024, since currently the three franchise player positions are occupied by Josef Martínez, Messi and Busquets (Jordi Alba will not sign in that condition). Once the next year starts, Josef would be downgraded, or sold, so that Suárez could become a franchise and earn an unlimited salary.

What will Luis Suárez's salary be if he comes to Inter Miami?

Taking into account that he could not be a franchise player if he signed now, his salary would not exceed 2 million dollars so as not to exceed the salary limit. However, as mentioned, this would change in 2024, the year in which he would be offered a superstar contract.
