Inter Miami recovers some life in the MLS where it marches in the last places of its conference. Lionel Messi's team beat the New York Red Bulls in the Argentine's debut in MLS. The world champion did not start after his string of games in the last month, where he was Leagues Cup champion and led Miami to the US Open Cup final.

However, coming on from the bench did not mean that Lionel Messi was not going to score in this game. The Argentine made it 2-0 after an excellent collective play with Jordi Alba and the young Benjamin Cremaschi to score the final goal that would seal the victory of the Miami team this season.

In his first game in Major League Soccer, after a great wall with Cremaschi, Messi was left alone in front of the goal and sent the ball into the back of the goal, thus reaching 11 scores in nine games with the MLS team. The team now reaches 9 games without losing and all this after the arrival of Messi. The Argentine's goal was even celebrated in Times Square, where some fans who couldn't get tickets gathered to see him.

When will Messi play the final of the US Open Cup?

The match of the grand final of the competition will be played next Wednesday, September 27, at a time yet to be defined. However, the match will be played in Florida, where Miami will have home-field advantage in the game. This when they face the Houston Dynamo, one of the best clubs in MLS.
