Today September 24th, when the sixth week of the Eredivisie tournament started for Feyenoord against Ajax in order to play the De Klassikier, the match had to be suspended due to multiple disturbs and acts of vandalism made by Ajax fans as they could not stand the terrible 3-0 loss vs Feyenoord.

When the half time started, Feyenoord went to the dressing room winning 3-0, with two great goals made by Mexican striker Santiago Gimenez who also made an assist in order for Feyenoord to score the third and definitive point of the match. Ajax couldn’t even make an effort to defend against the Mexican attack as they went with zero points made.

At minute 56’, Ajax’s fans could not stand their team was losing and there when the disturbances, fights between the assistants and acts of vandalism began. Before the ball could even roll, Ajax’s fans threw bengals into the field, suspending De Klassikier, leaving without any opportunity for their team to even try to make a comeback.

The videos are terrible images for the FIFA and the football leagues from all around the world that are continuously trying to stop the violence in the stadiums between fans, nevertheless, Ajax’s fans outstanded the authorities and the disturbances were everywhere. Referee Serdar Gözübüyuk had to suspend the game, therefore, Feyenoord secured another victory and Ajax fell once again due to their fans.

What’s next for Feyenoord?

Feyenoord has now 14 possitive points made with today's win over Ajax with the suspended match. They are now just behind PSV for one point in the Eredivisie standings. The Dutch team will have a tight schedule ahead as they will face Go Ahead Eagles on Saturday 30th; they will go up against Atletico Madrid for the second appointment of the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday October the 4th.
