The 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar is drawing closer and closer. Argentina emerged as one of the favorites after a brilliant performance in the qualifiers and winning the Finalissima against Italy. That does not mean that the team is not faced with certain challenges for the World Cup, challenges that their coach Lionel Scaloni has to deal with efficiently.

Some of the players of the Argentina National Team do not get a lot of playing time under their current teams, this is a problem because the players have to be in their top form to win a place in Argentina’s starting lineup against Saudi Arabia in the first match in Qatar.

Ángel Di María’s recent injury is troubling the Argentina coach as he picked up an injury with Juventus and his status is yet to be cleared. Di María is a very important part of Argentina’s squad and Scaloni will be keeping a very close eye on the situation.
