La Liga Santander is one of the best leagues in the world. The competition in this league is fierce amongst the strongest teams and the transfer market is very attractive for players all over the world to arrive to Spain and play for one of the top teams.

Real Madrid, Barcelona and Atlético Madrid are three of the biggest teams in the league and they are often the ones that spend the most in signings. Sadly, not every signing is successful in these teams as their demands for them are very high in terms of performance and contribution to the teams.

Ronaldo chose the best goalkeeper in history and it's not Neuer

This is the case of two players who were amongst the best strikers in La Liga but now are in a drought wether it is for contract reasons or lack of field time. We're talking about Marco Asensio and Antoine Griezmann. The Madrid and FC Barcelona stars are not playing as much as they would like to and are looking for other teams to exploit their talents.

Marco Asensio and Griezmann have both had their fair share of failures in their clubs. Griezmann failed to perform in FC Barcelona, who sent him on loan to Atlético Madrid and are looking for a good opportunity to sell the French international and recover the money they spent on him. As for Marco Asensio, it's widely known his most likely scenario is not renewing his contract with Real Madrid.

This is why their transfer is a done deal

Marco Asensio has been rumored and declared that he would consider playing in Barcelona. This statement plus the fact that he's not been playing as much as he would like to are two important reasons he could leave in January. As for Griezmann, he's been playing a lot but always comes from the bench and Atlético could not be able to pay his transfer fee to Barça. Juventus have the money and the need for two world class strikers and the La Liga talents might just be the first and best options according to ‘La Gazzetta dello Sport’ in Italy.
