Three Real Madrids youth players got detained, here's why and the club’s response

The Spanish Civil Guard has detained and interrogated today, September 14, three reserve players from Real Madrid, that have been involved in the dissemination of a private sex video involving a minor and the three mentioned players.

The three players detained (two from Real Madrid's reserve team and one from Castilla) gave their statement to the Spanish Civil Guard for spreading, via Whatsapp, a private sex video of a minor. The club said through an official press release on their social media.

Last September six, the three reserve players were accused by the mother of the girl in Mogan, Gran Canaria. The Civil Guard then arrested the three reserve players for revealing intimate secrets of sexual kind, according to EFE Agency.

Las Palmas Civil Guard is responsible for the ongoing investigation, the same party that attended the complaint. The arrests were made today on Thursday morning at Real Madrid's Valdebas, Ciudad Deportiva, where the three players were separated from the practice squad and detained.

The police has also confiscated the cellphones of the three players in order to analyze them and search if there is any more people involved in this case.

Who are the three players involved?

Real Madrid's press release did not give any of the three involved players, nonetheless, it did confirm that the arrested men are part of the second and third division teams of Real Madrid.

The Spanish team is now waiting for further advice from the office of the Superior Court of Justice of the Canary Islands in order to give more information and to designate a punishment for the three players
