Manchester United not only had a huge dilemma with the Mason Greenwood case, now the Antony issue is coming back to sound very strongly. Brazilian footballer Antony, from Manchester United, is being investigated by the Police in his country for allegedly having made threats and assaulted an ex-partner, official sources reported.

Antony would have threatened and assaulted a woman with whom he shared an affective bond. The player had sent a message of calm on his social networks, however, everything is escalating so quickly that even the Brazilian soccer federation has already made a decision with the player, who had been called up for the start of the qualifiers with Brazil.

Several Brazilian media released sections of Antony's conversations with an ex-partner, sent in text or recorded through a messaging application, in which the Manchester United striker wishes his ex-girlfriend Gabriela Cavallin death. The Uol portal published statements by Cavallin, in which he accuses Antony of having assaulted him on several occasions.

What will Brazil do with Antony?

In an official statement issued by the Brazilian Soccer Federation, it was established that the player has been removed from the team. "In order to safeguard the alleged victim, the player and the Brazilian national team, the organization reports that Antony has been removed from the Brazilian national team," they shared.
