FC Barcelona officially starts their season against Getafe.

FC Barcelona officially begins the season against Getafe, in the first LaLiga gameweek, at the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez stadium. After Real Madrid's comfortable victory yesterday against Athletic Club Bilbao, Xavi Hernandez's Barcelona is forced to win if they don't want their greatest rival to be the leader of the competition from the beginning.

Now, FC Barcelona has made its starting line-up for the match official. A starting lineup that, in the absence of perhaps some more signing, is expected to be the most common eleven between now and the end of the season, however it may change depending on injuries and players form.

This is FC Barcelona's eleven: Ter Stegen, Jules Kounde, Ronald Araujo, Andreas Christensen, Alejandro Balde; Pedri, Oriol Romeu, Frenkie De Jong, Ilkay Gundogan, Raphinha and Robert Lewandowski. Surprisingly, Gavi remained on the bench.

When is the next Barcelona game?

After this weekend, FC Barcelona will face Cádiz, on August 20. Despite the fact that Barcelona plays at home, let's remember that the Camp Nou is undergoing renovations, and for this reason, it will be played at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys.
