The 2022-23 season has been irregular for Manchester United. The team is currently in sixth place in the Premier League, and they are eight points behind the leader, Arsenal. One player who has not had a good season is Donny van de Beek. The Dutch midfielder was signed from Ajax for 40 million pounds in 2020 and has not been a regular in the squad.

Now, it seems that his time at Manchester United could be coming to an end. Spanish club Valencia is interested in signing him for the rest of the season. Dutch midfielder Donny van de Beek joined Manchester United from Ajax in September 2020. He made his debut against Crystal Palace in the Premier League and has since made 54 appearances for the club.

He was a key player for Ajax as they reached the semi-finals of the Champions League in 2019, scoring three goals and providing two assists in 12 games.  Valencia is interested in signing Donny van de Beek from Manchester United this summer, according to reports. The Spanish club are said to be admirers of the Dutchman and are keen to add him to their midfield as soon as possible.  

How likely is a transfer?

Valencia is reportedly interested in signing Donny van de Beek from Manchester United. The Spanish club is said to be monitoring the Dutchman's situation at Old Trafford and could make a move for him in the January transfer window. With Valencia's manager Genaro Gattuso reportedly interested in signing him, van de Beek could have a chance to resurrect his career. The Spanish club is currently ninth in La Liga and requires reinforcements after a disappointing start to the season.
