A new alliance for the World Cup headquarters. The Mexican Football Federation announced that together with the United States Soccer Federation, they presented their joint candidacy to host the Women's World Cup in 2027. NEW HEIGHTS is the name that distinguishes this candidacy, which will seek make the most of the sports infrastructure, transportation and security protocols that will be used a year before for the Men's World Cup. Proof of this is that stadiums with capacity for more than 65 thousand spectators can be used so that they can enjoy this next tournament.

It should be noted that this will be the tenth edition of the Women's World Cup, which has already been hosted by the United States on two occasions 1999 and 2003. It should be noted that in 1971, Mexico hosted the second attempt to hold a Women's World Cup, where only six countries participated and Denmark ended up winning.

Regarding this alliance, the Executive President of the FMF, Ivar Sisniega, commented that they are delighted to partner with U.S. Soccer to present the bid for the FIFA Women's World Cup 2027. All participating teams will be able to experience the warmth and support of our fans, who appreciate women's football and demonstrate it, week after week, with the success of our league female professional.

For her part, the President of U.S. Soccer, Cindy Parlow Cone, highlighted how all federations have begun to invest in women's soccer. Around the world, federations are beginning to invest more and more in women's football and records for revenue, viewership and participation are being rewritten. The United States and Mexico are in a unique position to host a World Cup that will take advantage of the same venues, infrastructure and protocols used for the men's World Cup a year earlier.

A strong alliance

Therefore, we believe that the time has come to organize a FIFA Women's World Cup that has the same investment, the same facilities and a world-class experience for players and fans. This will not only unlock the economic potential of women's football, but will send a message to young players around the world that there are no limits to what they can achieve.
