France is a talent-filled team without any doubts. The French national team has been the most consistent in the last 5 years and they demonstrated as much when they were crowned World Champions in 2018.
Their history has seen the best of soccer go by and some names the whole world remembers such as Zinedine Zidane, Thierry Henry, Laurent Blanc and some newer ones like Paul Pogba, N'golo Kanté or even Kylian Mbappé.

However, there was no recent history without one name, Antoine Griezmann. The french player is one of the most prominent players in recent french soccer history and was one of the protagonist for the achievement that was the 2018 World Cup.
Antoine shined at Real Sociedad as a young player, he got his big break with Atlético Madrid and became a prominent striker and was drafted to play with the french national team. He got many opportunities to shine and did so at his best in Russia 2018. Unfortunately, his transfer to Barcelona was a total disaster and didn't help his career, however, he still managed to set a new record.
With today's match, Antoine Griezmann set a new record with France. He's the single player with most consecutive games wearing the national team's shirt. Today's was his 69th game with the ‘blues’ and he's not missed a single national team game since his debut on june 13th, 2017. In spite of their loss, Griezmann has already passed to history books with his new record after having a couple irregular seasons in Barcelona and trying to recover his best with Atlético this season.
