Lionel Messi apparently has come up as a true mediator between PSG stars

Paris isn't the City of Love anymore, at least not between megastar Kylian Mbappé and Brazil's best footballer, Neymar. Everything started perfectly, both of them seemed to have the perfect partnership way before Lionel Messi arrived on the team. We could even see how they even had matching hairstyles during one season. But now all of that is passed behind them.

Most of us have seen their relationship has deteriorated since the French star signed his new contract with the Parisian club. Since PSG's number 7 finally got a wage increase to more than 80 million euros a year, he has got more power inside the team. It's been reported that he even has a say on transfer decisions. Of course, PSG's management asked him about his thought on Neymar.

What Mbappe said about the Champions League that upsets PSG fans

And apparently, Mbappé didn't mind if the Brazilian star left the club in the summer. Ever since that news came along Neymar has proved he is one of the best players in the world and right now he is the top scorer in France and has the same assists as Lionel Messi. That has left furious Mbappé.

He was even seen arguing with PSG's right back Achraf Hakimi about the defender's decision in a Ligue 1 match. But there is someone that has come to make peace in the locker room: Lionel Messi. The Argentian knows Neymar from their days at Barcelona, that's why is not surprising it's been reported that he is right now the mediator in the beef between these two megastars.

It's not the first time Neymar is in trouble

Since Neymar arrived in France, controversy hasn't been absent. He had trouble with PSG's legend and Uruguay's superstar, Edinson Cavani. During that time, it was said that the Brazilian even had a special contract clause that allowed him to take every penalty for PSG, which Cavani of course didn't like. In the end, the Uruguayan left in 2019, could Neymar now leave the club amid these problems with Mbappé?
